1. What do you see? How does he look? 

Picture One:I see a well-muscled man that looks really strong and scary in black glasses and red background.

Picture Two:I see a governor in formal clothes.

2.  How does he make you feel?

Picture One:This picture makes me feel like as if he’s some kind of criminal or an evil man.

Picture Two: It makes me feel like he is definitely capable of governing a state by looking at his confidence.

3. How does he look?  How do those "looks: influence how you feel?

Picture One: This is for a magazine called "Muscle & Fitness", and this photo fits perfectly, for it makes readers absolutely interested in the contents in it.

Picture Two:In this magazine, the editor gives me a chance to know a personal life of Arnold only by the cover, so if I were the reader, I could not wait to see the contents as the time I purchased it.

4. What lifestyles, values, points of view are represented or omitted?

Picture One:It makes me feel like as long as I finished reading this book, I would be able to have those 20 inches arms and that unbeatable appearance.

Picture Two:Most of us are always eager to be informed about secret lives of celebrities, and this magazine provides this opportunity, so it can successfully fascinate everyone in this category.  

5. What are the differences between the two covers? What techniques are used to attract your attention? Pay attention to body language, clothing, camera angle, lighting, color, eye contact etc.

They use two absolutely distinguishable colors; blue- as the color of water and red- as fire. In the first picture, the photographer emphasizes strongly on the well-trained body of Arnold, his 20 inch arm, for example, to catch muscle fans' eyes. In the second picture, on the other hand, the photographer wants to show us Arnold as a governor and some of his personal uncovered life. His smile and confident eyes give us a reliable image of him and make us want to support his new career. At the same time, however, this cover also fascinates us by giving an image of a beautiful woman who might have some connection with him.
